Here is a picture of one of my blueberry bushes. I kicked it into high gear landscaping, housecleaning, EVERYTHING mode last wk to pull off this cookout. It went great. The rents were totally surprised and about 20 folks showed up to wish them well, eat, gab, eat, and eat... I made A LOT of food!!!

Conner slept through the first half of the cookout. He even slept through 20 people yelling surprise right outside the living room window (he's in my recliner). He got his bath and was watching his Wiggles DVD when I noticed that he'd kind of slumped over.... He was gone!

Where are the pictures of Rylee, the social butterfly, you ask? There are none. She spent the entire span of the festivities playing in the creek and with Nancy's girls (in the creek)... Girls will be girls!
On that note, we're growing tadpoles. I"ll show you them in a different post when things slow down. Maybe I'll shoot them with the macro when they get legs, and are a bit more interesting!
As for the photos (see last two blogs), they really didn't like any of them except for Rylee's retake (see last blog). But hey, half of them are going on my wall, so no time lost.
So to catch you up on the rest of our life here on the farm, Rylee has three more soccer games til weekend freedom and one dance recital (June). Conner has three more gymnastics classes & we can concentrate on vacation, pool, SUMMER! Can you see where my mind is?
I have to admit, it's hard for me to do anything but play outside right now... Hope the warm weather finds everyone feeling great! Signing off for now:-)
