We had an original play date today... It was sort of a craft, sorta messy, and loads of fun. R&C headed to their best friends house (that's BFF, Emma) to paint their beloved Pippen's dog house.
In the beginning, C was very careful and showed great attention to detail.
He mastered the paint brush and moved on to the roller. Pretty good, eh?
Then someone got the idea to put their hands in it (actually, I think that was one of the adults!), and all bets were off!

After much painting, screaming, and general calamity, we HOSED the children down in the yard and put them in the pool. Everyone had a great time and best of all, they were worn out & are sleeping like rocks;-)~HAVE A BLESSED WEEKEND!!!~
