Friday, I called and called the school right up until the first bell. No answer, so given the fact that they've been without power, we headed to Parkerburg for a nice lunch and to see Hotel for Dogs. Take your kids to see this movie. It was great! We picked up one of their friends and we made a day of it.
Then Saturday, everyone had a jumpin time at the kids' combined birthday party. We rented a gym and for two hours, they went strong - parachute, obstacle course, trampoline, and pit (C LIVES for the pit)...
Then to a dear friend's house to take photos of her teenager before the Sweetheart Ball (isn't she beautiful?)... We had a great time and ended up taking her youngest back home with us (same angel we took to Parkersburg... I'm thinking of asking for child support???). Nah, we love her! Even though she beat on Tim. Perhaps that's why I love her?!?Today we took the kids to Walmart to spend some of their birthday loot. So, we may have to build on to hold the ridiculous addition of toys. LOL. I keep threatening to buy my dream log cabin & just give the kids the house. I mean, isn't it theirs already?
So we had a great weekend, and I"m glad that birthdays only come once a year:-) Thanks to everyone who came to play!
