4th of July ROUND ONE!

Get ready for lots of 4th of July pictures... We take our 4th celebrations VERY VERY seriously here in Jackson County! Tonight we visited the carnival downtown and had a BLAST!

The kids even got me on the ferris wheel (aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh)....

Conner was too short to ride this alligator roller coaster last year, so he really enjoyed himself making up for lost time!

Rylee does the bungee jump. Bungeeeeeeeeee!

The merry go round is a classic favorite with both kids...

Cheeeeeeeeeese! You can tell she's rarely photographed.

Rylee and I rode the ferris wheel together, and this was the car in front of us. Who are those handsome guys???

And no, this wasn't a prize at the carnival, but I had to include another picture of our newest family member - SOCKS. Innee cute?

oh, to be in Jackson County for the4th of July... so much fun. I love how small towns still make a big deal out of one of our most important holidays! They have nothing like that here.

Ya know, our best friends live in Ripley and she always talks about the stuff going on there for the holiday. Maybe we should go visit them one year! The pictures are awesome and look like so much fun!!

And I agree with Jamie, the small towns seem to be the ones with the best patriotic celebrations!
