SURPRISE!!! Labor Day cookout? Yeah, but with a little surprise. The cake was gorgeous and tasted GREAT. Thanks Aunt Brenda!

As a matter of fact, C thought it looked SO good that he couldn't wait for it to be sliced. Hey, finger prints are better than tongue prints, right? Does the B&W just make him look even more
mischievous?

I can't remember what they were told not to do... but a pouting fest ensued. Thankfully, no one tripped on those bottom lips! Where on earth did these little ones learn how to pout so?

Perhaps from their sister/cousin who has four extra years of experience on them. Ah, the drama;-)

Well, the drama did not last. As Brooke got out the Slip N Slide, yippee! Much fun & calamity was had by all and April & I only got slightly soaked. Grandma showed the kids how to really slide in her two piece, but I didn't have my camera out yet... sorry folks. You know how wild Evelyn can get.

Wheeeeee!

There were only a dozen or so collisions, but no tears to my knowledge. Must be those Mitchell BULL HEADS that can't be dented. Wonder where they get those?

J won the speed meter... go girl! She looked like an Olympic slider.

R, as usual, racked up points on the grace meter. Wipeout!

Here is the garden rock that R & I painted for Grandma's Bday.

And here is the nifty pot w/ the kids hand prints. I'm already buying mums and LOVING the fall air. There's just a crispness in mornings that puts a spring in my step;-)

Love ya Grandma! Happy Birthday:-)
